Intelligent schools

Now it is impossible to think of education whitout TICS

Please no more cuts to education!!!

Now we need to have not only specific knowledge about our degree (biology, chemistry, maths, spanish, etc.) but also  we need

to learn how to make our subject more attractive and wake up the interest of the students in the subjects. So the new trend about TICS is very important.

The new tecnologies are very present in our lives: when we want to apply for a job, we can send a mail, when we want to visit the doctor we can choose a date online, when we want to buy a book we have the possibility to order it by internet.

Students are very familiar whit a good number of  new tecnologies therefore the contents are more interesting and these are more closer to our reality and our world.

More high-schools and primary schools are for this tecnologies: Internet with videos, diferentes programms like jclic de autor,  moodle, digital blackboard, and virtual tutories in order to keep parents informed. Please no more cuts to education!

What do you think about this picture?

Do you think this would be posible in our country?

In 2006 came the new Law of Education LOE. Now in 2014 the new goverment has changed again the law. Every Goverment want to decided about the  themes of education: subjects for example: educación para la ciudadanía o no, mehodology, foreign languages that the teachers need  to teach,  and another themes.

The same has ocurred whit the Master de Profesorado. Many years ago the teacher muss to do CAP (Certificado de Adaptación Pedagógica) but after the politicians changed their mind and decided that the teacher have to study a lit more and do the master whit differents subjects and practics.

The head of  Socialism Party has said that the teacher should do a formation similar as the doctors do. In other countries this new idea is now a reality. Teachers after their degrees have to attend lessons at the university in order to learn how to teach and at the same time they have to teach in difference schools.

I have lived in Germany  for many years and I can say that the teacher are very busy but at the time they learnt a lot, but one important thing is that when they are teaching in school for gaining experience, they earn money. They are no students anymore, but they are not allow to teach, and they spend many hours taking lessons and teaching , doing exams and the question is: how do their earn a living and support themselves? so they recive money for the hours worked. So we can say that is a win-win experience.

Do you think this would be possible in our country? In my humble opinion it is no posible, due to the econonmic crisis there is no money for teachers and we are not able to study and teach the all day whitout earning a cent.
